The bigger number can win
Your scale is only half the measurement.
A light product in a large box can be billed from its dimensions. That does not make the scale wrong. It means the box is taking up more room than its weight suggests.
Measure the box you will actually hand over
- Pack it, close it, and include the final filler.
- Weigh the whole package, not the product listing.
- Measure the longest outside point in each direction.
- Verify the exact carrier and service before buying postage.

A big, feather-light box deserves a second look.
If the dimensional result jumps far above the scale weight, try the same packed order in a smaller safe box before you buy postage. The cheapest equipment on the desk may be the box you did not waste.
