Will this design fit the hoop and the machine?

A hoop can physically attach and still be larger than the area the machine can stitch in one position. The smaller limit wins.

The machine's embroidery field and the hoop's usable area are separate limits. Rotation may help, but it cannot enlarge either one.

“Large hoop” can mean fewer re-hoops

It does not automatically mean a larger single design. Multi-position hoops can move fabric between positions while the machine’s maximum embroidery field stays exactly the same.
