Will this label printer work with Etsy, Shopify, or eBay?
Shopify explicitly lists the Brother QL-1110NWB in the US. Etsy offers 4x6 only for USPS and does not list it. On eBay, a QR code may mean you do not need a printer at all.
The answer before you buy anything
There are three different answers here. That's the point. A printer sales page can say “4x6” and “wireless” all day long, but each platform makes its own damn rules.
Shopify · Exact model listed
Shopify actually names the QL-1110NWB.
Shopify officially lists the Brother QL-1110NWB in the United States for Windows, Mac, Android, and iPhone or iPad. Shopify also offers a 4x6 thermal format and gives separate printing steps for desktop, iPhone, and Android.
My call: This is the strongest documented fit in our three-printer research. It is still not a promise that every carrier, app version, or network setup will behave itself.
Still shipping a handful of orders? Shopify also supports an ordinary desktop printer on letter-size paper. You do not need to buy hardware just because Shopify can make a label.
Etsy · Maybe
Etsy is the annoying one.
Etsy says only USPS labels can use its 4x6 label-printer format. It officially names the DYMO LabelWriter 4XL and Zebra GC 420d. It does not name the Brother QL-1110NWB, although Etsy says some sellers use other 4x6 printers.
My call: The QL-1110NWB is wide enough and works with the devices we researched, but I would not call it Etsy-supported. If you need Etsy’s official blessing, none of our three Brother models earns it.
Check an actual order before you spend money. If Etsy is not offering a 4x6 USPS label for the work you do, the printer cannot fix that.
eBay · You have an out
You may not need a printer yet.
eBay lets you choose 8x11, 4x6, or a USPS-only 2x7 format before buying the label. The QL-1110NWB is the only printer in our researched set wide enough for the normal 4x6 option.
My call: If you only ship once in a while, use eBay’s QR-code option where it is available. Let the participating drop-off location print the label until doing that becomes the part you hate.
If you do buy a printer, select 4x6 before purchasing the eBay label. eBay’s reviewed help page does not give the QL-1110NWB an exact-model endorsement, so this is a size match, not an eBay guarantee.
